Training, Operational Readiness and Operational Earned Value

Readiness for Operations

The earliest assessment and proof of operational viability is the lowest risk way to run your project. Specialist techniques that can check your operational viability need not wait till the end of your project. We have experience of complex testing and readiness activities but also of process and system benchmarking to establish viability in time to take corrective actions to avoid unnecessary delay and reworks. We can provide for readiness activities at any point in your programme to identify the risks of solution adoption and viability.

Training

On many complex development projects integrated assets often use partial functionality from multiple systems for their day to day use. Yet those assets have no specific training curriculum to perform an intended overall operational function. We can provide training that is tailored to the operational need as opposed to a specific sub set of individual supporting systems. We can build you an entire operational training plan which insures everything in your operation is addressed in training. Having the knowledge of how individual supporting systems integrate and depend on each other to support an operation will avoid failures and ensure proper planning.

Operational Earned Value

Most complex projects understand progress made against the delivery of physical assets and components as opposed to the operational viability and progress. As an example an airport terminal building can show 99% earned value but not be able to support any operations. We have expertise in providing operational earned value regimes from diverse avionics projects, including airports, large scale software development and military aircraft design.
